A true cockney born within the sound of Bow Bells, Danny is a classically trained pianist and drummer who studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. He turned his love of music into working in radio at an early age with a presenting job at Guys Hospital in London.

He soon moved to an overnight show in Luton and then arrived back in London to turn his hand to the retail music scene with Radio Top Shop and Virgin Megastores.

Not one to settle, Danny soon took off around the country with stints at Red Rose Rock Radio in Lancashire, Piccadilly in Manchester, and Heart in the West Midlands. At the start of 2004, London was calling once again and Danny joined Magic.

Although he describes himself as a soul man, citing The Jackson 5 and Quincy Jones as particular favourites, the first record Danny ever bought was "Money, Money, Money" by Abba. The proudest moment of his career was playing Happy Birthday on the piano for Barry Gibb at his 50th birthday party in front of his family and friends.

He ran the London Marathon in 2002 to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital and when he’s not out keeping fit he likes sitting down to watch a classic movie like The Color Purple, Midnight Express or One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.

His favourite city is Barcelona and he’s a big lover of languages, speaking French, Spanish and Portuguese. He also admits he’s been known to speak rubbish…
