Gary started out with 10 years on hospital radio in Hillingdon. He tried his hand at being a comedy compere on the side, but where he really came into his own was DJing in nightclubs.

He was approached by an unknown local artist to play his then unreleased first single. The singer was George Michael, the record was �Wham Rap!�, and the rest, as some bloke once said, is history. Gary himself modestly describes the event as �George�s claim to fame�.

He moved into professional radio with GWR and worked all over the country for 15 years before arriving at Magic105.4 in 2003.

His first record was the glam rock classic, I'm The Leader Of The Gang and today Gary remains a rock fan at heart, still enjoying his favourites: The Eagles, James Taylor, and Hall and Oates.
