It's been revealed that The Feeling and 80s star Nik Kershaw are the latest editions to the line-up

BT London Live is proud to announce The Feeling in Hyde Park presented by Magic. British pop stars The Feeling will perform a special set in the iconic setting of Hyde Park on Monday 30 July 2012. Visitors will also get to see ALL of the Olympic Sports and Medal Ceremonies of the day LIVE, in addition to a spectacular array of have-a-go activities.

The Feeling first burst onto the UK music scene in 2005 with the release of their single ‘Fill My Little World’ which went into the Top 10. The British pop group’s debut album the following year went in at No. 2 with subsequent chart hits including the singles ‘Sewn’, ‘Never Be Lonely’ and ‘I Thought It Was Over’. No stranger to sports, the band’s track ‘Set My World On Fire’ was nominated as the official theme song for the BBC’s coverage of the Cricket World Cup last year.

BT London Live visitors on Monday 30 July will see every London 2012 sporting activity live on giant screens, including the Men’s Synchronised Diving, Judo Heats, Medal Matches and Ceremonies, Gymnastics – Men’s Team Final, Swimming - Men’s and Women’s 100m Backstroke Final, Weightlifting and Fencing – Women’s Individual Epee Gold Medal Matches and Medal Ceremony. Plus medal ceremonies for the above, heats and preliminary rounds for sports including Tennis, Volleyball, Archery, Hockey and Equestrian.

Nik Kershaw confirmed

Also added to the list of artists performing at BT London Live is 80s superstar Nik Kershaw, who will be playing a special set in Hyde Park on Wednesday 8 August. Nik kicked off his impressive career with hits including ‘Won’t let the Sun Go Down on Me’ and ‘Wouldn’t It Be Good’, selling over 8 million records, and has gone on to work with the likes of Elton John, Gary Barlow and Ronan Keating. His new album entitled “8” will be released in the summer.

BT London Live Hyde Park and Victoria Park has something for everyone, from live music to watching the 100 metres final on a 160m2 screen, the 55m high BT Observation Wheel in Victoria Park giving views of the Olympic Park, have-a-go sports, plus al-fresco Sports Bars and much more.  A great line up of artists has already been announced, they include: Tom Jones, Feeder, Dodgy, The Levellers, Cast, Amy Macdonald, Paul Carrack Kenny Thomas and the cast of ‘We Will Rock You’. BT London Live is also hosting two Celebration Concerts in Hyde Park to coincide with the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Snow Patrol, Stereophonics, Duran Duran and Paolo Nutini will perform at the Opening Ceremony Celebration Concert on Friday 27 July, whilst Blur will headline the Closing Ceremony Celebration Concert on Sunday 12 August, with special guests New Order and The Specials.
