BT London Live runs from 27th July to the 12th August and will offer hundreds of thousands of Brits, visitors and Londoners the chance to join in the excitement of the biggest sporting event on the planet – the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.

As well as giant state of the art screens for crowds to watch live action from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Hyde Park, Victoria Park & Trafalgar Square will provide a stunning backdrop for a variety of entertainment and attractions for people of all ages, including live music, outdoor arts and performance, plus opportunities to try out different sports. Apart from two days set aside for ticketed Celebration Concerts in Hyde Park, the three iconic locations will be free to the public.

BT London Live is proud to announce Bombay Bicycle Club in Hyde Park presented by Magic. The London five-piece have been announced as Blur’s special guests at this massive open-air concert which coincides with the Closing Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games on Sunday 12 August.

Not only will the thousands of ticketholders for this unique event see one of the UK’s biggest bands exclusively live on stage, but they will also be able to witness the London 2012 celebrations as giant screens in Hyde Park show highlights of the Closing Ceremony from the Olympic Park courtesy of the BBC.

Bombay Bicycle Club comprises frontman Jack Steadman, guitarist Jamie MacColl, bassist Ed Nash and drummer Suren de Saram. Since forming in north London in 2006, they have gone on to release three critically albums including their gold selling debut I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose (2009), Flaws (2010) and their most recent release A Different Kind of Fix (2011). Nominated for an Ivor Novello, the band have produced a string of hit singles including ‘Shuffle’, ‘Always Like This’ and ‘How Can You Swallow So Much’.
